At Quanix AI, we strive to provide exceptional service and value. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines our terms for subscription cancellations, refunds, and related matters for our AI-powered construction estimating platform.

2. Subscription Terms

2.1 Billing Cycle

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis according to your chosen plan (monthly or annually). Payments are processed automatically through our secure payment processor, Stripe.

2.2 Free Trial

If applicable, free trial periods allow you to explore our platform risk-free. You will not be charged during the trial period. To avoid charges, you must cancel before the trial period ends.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time by:

3.2 Effective Date

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the platform until that date. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing cycle.

We do not require long-term contracts. You are free to cancel at any time without penalty, though refunds are subject to the terms outlined below.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 General Refund Terms

Due to the nature of our software-as-a-service platform, all payments are generally non-refundable once services have been rendered. This includes:

  • Monthly subscription fees
  • Annual subscription fees
  • Individual project processing fees
  • Additional feature or service charges

4.2 Exceptions

Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a system error
  • Service Failure: If our platform fails to deliver core services as described
  • Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same service
  • Discretionary Refunds: In exceptional cases at Quanix AI's sole discretion

4.3 Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after 30 days from the initial purchase date. Within the first 30 days, a pro-rated refund may be issued for the unused portion at our discretion.

Refund requests are reviewed within 5-7 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.

5. Project-Based Services

5.1 Takeoff Processing

Once a construction drawing has been submitted for AI takeoff processing and work has commenced, the service fee is non-refundable. This is because our quantity surveyors and AI systems begin analyzing your drawings immediately.

5.2 Quality Guarantee

If you are unsatisfied with the accuracy or quality of a completed takeoff, we will work with you to revise and correct the estimate at no additional charge. However, this does not constitute grounds for a refund.

6. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any billing disputes before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Chargebacks may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account
  • Termination of access to all services
  • Loss of all project data and work product

If a chargeback is found to be invalid or fraudulent, you may be liable for the original charge plus any chargeback fees incurred.

7. Account Termination

7.1 Voluntary Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, you will lose access to:

  • All project data and estimates
  • Historical records and reports
  • Contact directory and communication history

7.2 Data Retention

After cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted. If you wish to export your data, please do so before canceling or contact support.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
